Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
At Fresh Kids Holiday Club we aim to provide stimulating, fun activities that get children moving, exploring, imagining and connecting with others. Our programme is designed to build confidence, social skills, creativity and teamwork – all while having fun!
General Information
When does Fresh Kids Holiday Club run?
We run daily during every school holiday (except Bank Holidays and the Christmas break).
What age children can attend?
Our Holiday Club is open to children aged 5 to 12 years. The club is best suited for children who are already independent – for example, those who have attended nursery or school and can:
- Follow instructions from Coaches and the Duty Manager.
- Use the toilet unaided and dress themselves appropriately afterwards.
- Feed themselves at mealtimes.
Is the club inclusive?
Yes, Fresh Kids is inclusive and welcomes all children. However, we are unable to provide one-to-one care. We must consider the health, safety and happiness of the whole group – if this is not possible, then Holiday Club may not be the most suitable environment for your child.

Children always have a choice of activities, so there’s something for everyone.

- Apply sunscreen before arrival and pack a named spray bottle of suncream for your child to reapply during the day.
Behaviour & Expectations
What behaviour do you expect at Holiday Club?
We want every child to enjoy a safe, happy environment. To make this possible, all children must follow our Rules & Behaviour Code of Conduct, which are agreed to at booking.
We expect children to:
- Be kind, respectful and considerate to staff and other children.
- Use polite language – no shouting, teasing or name-calling.
- Follow instructions from staff.
- Join in with activities and try their best.
- Respect differences of race, gender, ability, age and religion.
- Keep hands and feet to themselves (no hitting, kicking or rough play).
- Take responsibility for their belongings (only lunches, clothes, sunscreen and medicine may be brought in).
- Ask for help if needed.
- Wash hands before eating and after using the toilet.
- Most importantly – have fun!
Fresh Kids promotes positive behaviour and independence in a relaxed, supportive environment. Children who cannot follow the Code of Conduct may be asked to leave the club.
